Another release of UNSTABLE versions with a bunch of fixes and quality of life improvements. In this version I've updated the calculation of lines and rectangles to make them more consistent when you draw diagonals in 3D space especialy rectangles should have no more holes or other errors now. I've also implemented feedback from various users given to me on discord. With mod options to turn off infinite reach when in first-person which is now off by default. Also an option that let's you turn off the function where you always go to isometric mode when you switch to creative. In the control settings you can now also set the key to enter isometric to something else then F5. In that case it will no longer be another perspective on top of the normal 3 but it will be seperate from that. This is all thx to feedback by TwoFace17, +washabe & Osas. Further I also implemented a button to disable the tools of Advanced Creation so you can use other tools from other building mods in the isometric perspective. Important features are the new terrain editing tools in the EDIT mode: LEVEL, DIG/RAISE, SMOOTH/SHARPEN. There's also the delete bucket in the template inventory screen and FPS optimization tool and more!

The second release of UNSTABLE versions with a bunch of fixes and quality of life improvements. Sure, can't really call them monthly but I'm trying my best to keep up. I don't believe I have to tie myself to deeply to that monthly promise. I work at my own pace and just try to do the people who support me and give me feedback justice as best I can. A highlight is the advcreation_block_blacklist.txt file added to your .Minecraft folder (See image). If you are experiencing crashes because of modded blocks that are incompatible with advanced creation you can put the block/item id there so that advanced creation will not try to process them anymore, preventing crashes in the future. These blocks are still usable from other perspectives. Instructions on how to use it are in the file. I also want to say that there are general mod compatibility improvements especially on MC 1.12.2. If previously advanced creation didn't work with your modpack maybe it does now! Let me know if it doesn't! I think this version is pretty stable but that's mostly my gut speaking so I'm still labelling it UNSTABLE, for liability reasons and stuff. I call them UNSTABLE because they are quick fixes for issues highlighted by the lovely people on discord, reddit or any other platforms. I haven't done extensive testing on them so they may contain some overlooked issues, hence the labelling as "UNSTABLE" . By releasing less polished versions that incorporate feedback from you guys every month, I want to thank you for giving that feedback and making my mod better. This way you can have a faster reward for giving me feedback and I think that is important. So thank you very much EMPEROR ARCHAON, Swagmaster, Greenjoe1234 and ThePrimarch for giving me feedback on issues that were easy to fix! Ofcourse there are many others that have given me feedback and I am very thankful to you too! This feedback will still be invaluable to me for deciding on the future development of the mod. But in order to put your feedback in one of these UNSTABLE versions, it needs to be a fix or change that is easy to accomplish for me and it needs to be a general improvement of the mod and not something that will alter the mod in its core functionality or principle. Ofcourse, in the end, I have to be convinced that the feedback is worth acting on. That is the nature of any development. Oof! This was a major slog but I finally managed to finish the port to MC1.16.5. Sadly my perfectionist self wasn't happy to just port it, I wanted new shiny features, such as the new DIG/RAISE, SMOOTH/SHARPEN and LEVEL tools in EDIT mode for terrain editing (see video), in this version but also wanted to add some basic features and fixes that, honestly, needed to be in the mod from the beginning. The sad part is that this took more time, the awesome part is that they are awesome! If you don't mind me saying so myself. Now I know what you're thinking: "1.16.5 is old too how is this an improvement?". When I started this venture 1.16.5 was still the most modded recent version of Minecraft so I thought people would appreciate this port, guess I was wrong. But whatever it is here now, it exists now. This was my first port and I'm not to eager to make another one, let alone keep up to date with every new release. I'd be porting for the rest of my life considering the size and complexity of this monster. Of course, respectful opinions on this matter are always welcome on the discord channel(see below) or anywhere else for that matter. For now the only porting I am going to do is putting the new stuff in the MC1.12.2 version. I hoping to get around to that some time in the near future. Happy New Year!! I finally found the energy to add a News Section to this website! The version has been online for a while now but this is sort of the official announcement of Advanced Creation Alpha2.0! out since last year for MC 1.12.2! Sorry for the long wait, I underestimated the amount of work implementing the feedback was going to be and in the mean time I've been working on a port to 1.16.5 that is still in progress. You don't even need an account here to upload! Upload templates as zipfiles. These can be found on your computer in the "appdata/.minecraft/advcreation_templates_zips/" folder.
Isometric-like camera that can zoom in and out, rotate around a focus point and move around with the normal move keys.
It even has option to show a cut-through of the world that allows you to look into buildings.
Ofcourse a isometric perspective necessitates a free mouse cursor. This in turn allows the HUD Overlay to have clickable buttons.
An array of flexible tools are available to build structures and edit the world with only a few clicks.
Current available tools are: Single block, Line, Rectangle, Curve, Circle, Pull, Copy, Move/Delete, FillGap, Paint Brush, PaintBucket, Place/Delete Plants
You can choose whether you want the rectangle and circle filled up or not.
Each tool gives a clear preview of the blocks that are added or deleted.
Additional settings give the ability to build vertically without relying on higher terrain.
Current available directional settings are: Free, build in vertical XY plane/ZY plane, build in horizontal XZ plane, follow ground mode.
These tools and settings are available via a quick-selection wheel menu, but also via toggle hotkeys.
You can create templates of existing structures with an easy to use selection mechanism.
These templates can be placed into the world with addtional settings such as a generate foundation.
You can share your own creation on this website or download other player's creations and load them immediately into your current game.
Since beta1.0, there are tools available in the EDIT mode that allow you to dig or raise the terrain as well as level entire areas to the desired height. To make more subtle changes to the existing terrain you can smooth it to make a traversable slope or sharpening a slope to make cliffs.
Additional quality of life features are: Redo/Undo functionality and an integrated help screen with animated examples.
